And unlike many other car manufacturers, we make the transferring procedure simple and carefree. All that's required is a mechanical inspection and oil change at your Nissan dealer at the time of transfer.

The benefits we offer with our Plan add up to extraordinary value even if you never have a component claim. Crown Nissan can provide you with a complete description of the benefits; here are just some of the benefits you will value with your Nissan Added Security Plan:

Lubrication Services - Covers your first four oil changes and includes engine oil and filter replacement, air filter element inspection, inspection of all fluid levels, and visual inspection of tires for damage and uneven wear.

Rental Vehicle Assistance - You will also be pleased to know that your Added Security Plan will cover the cost of a car rental from a recognized rental agency, up to $35 per day, up to a maximum of 10 days, in the event your vehicle is immobilized overnight or longer due to a failure of a listed covered component of your Plan, or one that is expressly covered and paid for by the Nissan New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Tire Road Hazard Coverage - For even more peace of mind, your factory-installed tires will be covered for 3 years or 50,000 kilometres, or their usefull life (1.6mm o 2/32 of an inch remains), whichever comes first. The damaged tire will be replaced or repaired free of charge (no pro-ration for kilometrage), including installation and balancing of new tire.

Here's a smart idea. You can enjoy the continuation of Nisan's Premium Roadside Assistance that is included with your New Vehicle Limited Warranty for the full duration of the Plan you choose. We'll be there for you down the road with all the same services, available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, anywhere in Canada or continental USA, by simply calling our toll-free Emergency Services Help Line at 1-800-387-0122.

EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

Mechanical Breakdown Towing - We weill arrange to have your vehicle towed to your preferred Nissan dealership within 50 kilometres or to the nearest Nissan dealership within 250 kilometres per incident when necessitated by a mechanical breakdown.

Emergency Transportation - If your vehicle has experienced a mechanical breakdown and you are less than 100 kilometres from home, relax, we'll reimburse you and your passengers up to $50 for the cost of commercial transportation (bus or taxi) from the breakdown site to your destination or home.

Trip Interruption Services - If your vehicle experiences a mechanical breakdown more than 100 kilometres away from home, you can count on us. We will reimburse you up to $100 for each of the following related expenses that you may incur: accomodation and meals, vehicle rental, and emergency transportation.

On-site Emergency Road Service Calls - You'll also value the peace of mind of knowing that we'll dispatch a service vehicle to assist your disabled vehicle with such services as Winching, Battery Boost, Fuel Delivery, Tire Change, and Key Lockout Service.

If for some reason you have to make other arrangements, alternate roadside assistance reimbursements are limited to a maximum of $75 for mechanical breakdown towing and winching and $50 for emergency road service calls.

Nissan's Peace of Mind Added Security Plan Conditions:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

As an extended service Plan holder, you will maintain your vehicle in good operating condition and working order, properly serviced and will make all necessary repairs and replacements to the vehicle using the maintenance program prescribed by the manufacturer. Maintenance services due to natural wear and tear are the responsibility of the Plan holder.

Normal maintenance services are not covered, such as but not limited to: adjustment, alignment, batteries, belts, brake pads and shoes, brake rotors and drums, filters (all), headlight aiming, high tension wires, spark plugs, timing belt, tune-up, wheel alignment & balancing and wiper blades.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Items not specifically mentioned in the covered components list are not covered, such as but not limited to: airbag system, antenna (manual/power), axle boots, bulbs (all), clutch release bearing, clutch lining and cover, complete exhausts system, coolant or oil caps, coolant drain plugs, dust covers, fuses, harnesses, hoses, seat frames, shocks and struts, steering wheel trim, and stoppers (steering, suspension).
